Holly and Romero’s wedding was beautiful and Holly is the most gorgeous bride I’ve ever witnessed. The fear she had the other week is long gone, her and Romero seem to be closer now. They’re constantly talking and he’s made her laugh a lot today. I know that seeing them together has both Denis and Danny calming down a lot. They’ve both been worried about her.

Although, right now, the only person they’re worried about is Zoe. God, that bitch, she’s pressing on my last damn nerve right now and I’m so fucking close to hurting her just to shut her up.

“Jesus, this wedding is so distasteful,” she comments as she glances around the reception, her eyes taking everyone in.

I glance to my left where Makenna’s sitting on the other side of the table, her gaze firmly on Zoe and she too is far from pleased. She must sense me watching her as she turns to me, and shakes her head. Yeah, something is going to have to be done about Zoe, she’s not ruining Holly’s wedding.

“God, could she get an uglier dress?” Zoe snarls.

“Shut it,” I growl. “Seriously, Zoe, shut up or I’ll make you. I’ve had enough of your fucking bitching. You don’t like it, you know where the door is.”

Makenna smirks and I shake my head, God, why are people such fucking arseholes? Thankfully, Danny or Denis aren’t sitting at the table which is why the bitch is running her mouth.

“Who the hell do you think you are talking to me like that?” Zoe questions as she crosses her arms over her chest and glares at me. “You think you're a badarse bitch because you’re married to my son?” she scoffs. “You’re not. You’re nothing but a whore who trapped my son into marrying her. You don’t belong in this family, you’re all mouth and no action.”

“Try me, Zoe,” I warn her but she shakes her head and gets to her feet.

“God I fucking hate that bitch,” Makenna grouses as Zoe struts away from our table and makes a beeline for Holly. “Seriously? What the hell is her problem?”

We both get to our feet and follow her, “Holly, did you really have to wear that?” She sneers at her daughter.

I reach for her arm. “That’s enough, Zoe,” I tell her as I dig my fingernails into her skin and pull her out of the reception and toward the bathroom. Makenna is hot on our heels, I don’t bother looking behind to see who else has followed.

Once we’re in the bathroom, I release her and check the stalls. Empty. Good. I turn back to the bitch that’s glaring at me. “What the hell is your problem?” I ask her just as the door opens.

Makenna moves out of the way and Denis and Danny walk in, both looking pissed off. “What did you say to my daughter?” Denis growls and Jesus, he’s hot. Way too old for me, but the man is sexy as hell, it bodes well for Danny as he’s the spitting image of his father.
